We had our first bath time since Emma's umbilical cord fell off.  She did a great job and did not cry!  She was although a bit squirmy, but I think liked the whole experience!

Visitors

We are proud to announce the arrival of our little one, Emma!  She arrived just two short weeks ago on August 31, 2011.  She weighed 8lbs 1.6 oz and was 21 inches long.  We were just at her two week check up and she is continuing to grow!  Here are some pics of her first two weeks, including here zero month pics! :)

Two years since the last post....

Well as the last two years have flown by, lots of things have happened!  Here is just a few of those things.... The last post was Jack's (our nephews) first birthday, he is now three and has since became a big brother to Charlie who just celebrated his first birthday.  Lily our wonderful dog has turned 5!  We have been to many weddings, including Arron and Alex in St. Maarten where we got to see and spend time with the Mullen Family (which was long overdue)!  Then last but not least in January we found out we were expecting an addition to our family!

The last 6 months...

Ok so we are not very good bloggers.

A lot has happened in the last 6 months... let's see...

Our nephew has grown so much... he turned one and has now started talking and walking!

House projects- Renovating the bathroom and garage

One of our closest friends Emily + Simone got married in Chicago

Vacation- South Carolina with the fam and Florida, including Disney

Lots of wedding festivities for Meredith and Mandy

Jess got a new job in a public district and Sam got into the firefighting progam!!

RENOVATIONS... DIY all the way!

This summer we decided on two main projects the garage and the bathroom!! The garage (which I don't have any pictures of) was fairly easy... taking out cabinets, painting, redoing the floor, putting up peg board and organizers...

Then there is the bathroom... still not done.. but here are some pictures to show our progress!!

The Piga wedding in Chicago was such a fun time! It was so nice to see such an amazing couple commit to each other!!! We love them dearly and wish we were closer to see them more than we do!!! We wish them the best in a long and happy marriage!!
